Carol Gee

Hi! I’m Carol Gee and I have been teaching swimming for about thirteen years. My teaching commenced in New Zealand where I taught for three years doing learn to swim and coaching. The qualifications acquired were SwimSafe,Swim Tech and Level 1 coaching.

In 1998 I moved to Australia and taught at another swim school for nine and a half years where I became Austswim qualified, achieved my Green Coach’s licence and competitive stroke course and became a member of As’cta. During this period I taught babies, learn to swim and coached as well as taught children with disabilities. I really enjoyed the variety. My role also included mentor to staff training, the undertaking of day to day running of the swim school as well as formatting new swim programmes.

I have a passion for horses and as well as competing at competition level am a qualified horse riding instructor at Pony Club level. I love trying new things – scuba diving being one of them. Skydiving, hang gliding and blasting around on a motor bike are other pursuits.
